Improving the Cylinder Head Flow for this Screamin’ Eagle Electra Glide

Although the SEEG comes standard with Screaming Eagle cylinder heads the heads are deemed to be one of the biggest sources of restriction when it comes to getting fuel in and exhaust out. There was however a desire to utilise the Screaming Eagle cylinder heads and retain the stock look of the bike. There are firms such as Edelbrock who manufacture replacement heads but these lack the Screamin’ Eagle logo.

It was decided to further research BC Gerolamy of California who are probably the acknowledged leader in modifying stock heads. The company is still run by Barry Gerolamy and their work is much publicised in the American bike magazines.

A quick call to Barry Gerolamy revealed that they had achieved stunning results on American owned SEEGs by using their in house CNC facility which offers the following;

  • Fully CNC ported throughout for maximum flow and horsepower.
  • Precise control over port shape and chamber size.
  • CNC porting assures the closest tolerances, consistently.
